“The name Waterlily Pond came from deep pockets of my memory – the lazy summer days on the Dnieper River in Ukraine when I was little. My parents used to rent a rowboat and we adventured for hours exploring adjacent lakes and ponds. Sometimes we would find an amazing surprise – a pond filled with white and yellow water lilies. It was the most beautiful vision. I always tried to pick a whole bunch out of the water to bring back to the house but they never lasted long. Just a magical moment in time. Like flowers we create for the brides – for their magical moment”.

I’ve heard our work described by our clients and other event professionals as modern, free-spirited, exotic, adventurous, organic, nature-inspired, sexy. Although I do have a distinct point of view, influenced by my study of Japanese Ikebana floral design, interest in art and architecture, and passion for unusual expressive flowers, I don’t work in just one genre. I always challenge myself to create pieces that are truly a reflection of your style. The result could be Ultra modern, or Asian Fusion, or Garden Lush.  The possibilities are endless, as my biggest thrill is to “get it right” for my clients.
